With the crisp crunch of fallen leaves underfoot, the fresh smell of rain-soaked grass, and a warm cup of coffee in your hand, you know it’s that time of year again – our favourite season has arrived.
Everyone knows that Autumn is when the comfy and chic girls truly shine with outfits that effortlessly intertwine comfort and elegance. Think rich brown hues, and creamy buttermilk sweaters, it is a season of earthy neutrals. Whilst Bordeaux red continues to make a statement this fall, we can’t help but notice one item that has taken the spotlight and has everyone in a chokehold – a neutral suede bag. This must-have piece elevates every outfit, adding a touch of understated elegance and making your fall staples look even more refined. To take your new it-bag a step further pair it with either a neutral or black ballet flat, and straight-leg jeans for a relaxed yet elevated look. For our maximalist girlies who want to take this a step further, make sure to add your favorite junky jewellery (we’re loving a statement bracelet at the moment) to add an element of fun that is both chic and timeless. To bring it all together, don’t forget to finish your look with a pair of sunglasses for a full proof look that is both timeless and on trend.
This fall everyone is going back to their basic and adding an element of fun to their outfits. One look that we are loving at the moment is tailored black pants, crisp white T-shirt, belt and leopard or red ballet flats and this look is accessorised with all your favorite rings and earrings. The best element of this capsule look is that your black tailored pants (make sure it is the perfect length for you) can so easy and effortlessly elevate your look. For our heel loving girlies, change the shoes with a pointy black boot and a leather woven bag and fitted long sleeve top for an office siren look that can be so easily be dressed up or down. One of our favorite parts about fall fashion is that you will always look like the most put together person in the room, just with adding texture and colour to your staple pieces.
For those of us who want to look like we just stepped out of a pinterest board, try pairing a mini black skirt, sheer black tights, chunky grey knit sweater and an oversized blazer, and finish the look with your knee high boots, that is guaranteed to turn heads in any room that you walk in, (extra points if you have a bouncy blow out and red nails). This fall is all about that ‘big-city-girl’ look, whilst looking cozy and elegant when you’re getting your mandatory cup of coffee with your bestie.
The best part about fall fashion is that you can dress up with heeled boots, or dress down with a black hoodie, tailored pants, and your Sambas. Whether you want to make a statement with chunky jewellery, colour or print, go ahead and play around. For a fullproof method, pair timeless staple pieces whilst adding a pop of colour through your shoes, or texture with your bag if you are new to spicing up your wardrobe (and of course finish with a pair of sunglasses). Remember this fall it’s all about experimenting, burgundy red, and an iconic suede bag.
